20 Foods Your Vagina Loves

20 Foods Your Vagina Loves

This is for my Food lovers! So, there is one important thing to bear in mind as you devour that mouthwatering meal – is your Vagina a Foodie too? Because, when things go south down there with issues like bad odor, unusual discharge, or itch, just know that your Vaginal pH is off and you might have to rely on some of these meals to help get your pH back on track.

We’re going to be listing 20 meals that you can include in. your diet to make your Vagina say thank you! But before that, let us discuss what pH means. The term “pH” might sound like too much science to those who aren’t familiar with the term.

pH (power of Hydrogen) means a measure of how acidic or basic a substance or solution is. It is measured on a scale of 0 to 14. On this scale, a pH value of 7 is neutral, which means it is neither acidic nor basic. A pH value of less than 7 means it is more acidic, and a pH value of more than 7 means it is more basic.

For Vaginal pH, a balanced vaginal pH needs to stay between 3.8 and 4.2 The moment the balance gets disrupted for too long, bacteria have a chance to thrive and cause discomfort or even an infection.

What causes an imbalance? Anything with a high pH above 4.5, like douches or soaps with fragrances, can disrupt the natural acidity in your vagina. Even tight-fitting clothing that doesn’t allow air to circulate can cause pH changes below the belt by trapping sweat and moisture against your skin.

Your vagina is pretty good at protecting and cleaning itself, though. Learn how the Vagina is self-cleansing. Proper vaginal care, such as good hygiene, safe sex, regular gynecological visits, exercising regularly, and having any infections treated as quickly as possible, all play a role in keeping your pH in check. Water intake and diet modifications can also help, including adding Lactobacilli supplements, a type of probiotic to your routine.

But you may not realize that eating a healthy diet and choosing certain foods can also promote vaginal health. Yes, the Vagina uses natural secretions, immune defenses, and good bacteria to keep itself healthy but eating a healthy and balanced diet can also contribute positively to its general well-being. Certain food and drinks contain compounds that can improve your Vagina’s health condition.
