A

Allantoin

Allantoin is one of the most active ingredients in the Soothe soak. It contains soothing property that have a calming effect on the intimate skin.

It has also been shown to have healing properties; it soothes injured skin around the Vulva, which is very effective for postpartum care routine for cut during vaginal childbirth

Aloe Vera

Aloe vera as an ingredient soothes irritated skin due to friction from wearing sanitary pads, hydrates and smoothens vulva skin, eliminates the bacteria that cause unpleasant odor, protects against bacterial infection during the menstruation, moisturizes and gets rid of vulva dryness while retaining the natural pH balance of Vagina.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar (aka ACV) is derived from apples and made by a process of fermentation. Apple cider vinegar has antibacterial properties that reduces bacterial infections by inhibiting the growth of bacteria and Yeast. Its acidic component helps restore the natural pH level of the urinary tract and vagina.

Black Cohosh

Black cohosh (Actaea racemose) is a woodland herb native to North America. The root is used as medicine and is often used for estrogen-related conditions.

It is commonly used for menopausal symptoms, including hot flashes (also called hot flushes) and night sweats, vaginal dryness, heart palpitations, tinnitus, vertigo, sleep disturbances, nervousness and irritability.

Boric Acid

Boric acid is a mineral salt found in sea water with mild antiseptic and anti-fungal properties. It has been used to treat vaginal infections for over 100 years. It’s very effective for recurrent or chronic Yeast infections.

As an anti-fungal, it works to treat both Candida albicans and the more resistant Candida glabrata yeast strains. Boric acid along with Antibiotic treatment also works to treat Bacterial vaginosis. It works by removing bacterial mucus from the vagina. By doing this, it may help get rid of disease-causing organisms that antibiotics have a hard time destroying.

Bulgarian Rose Essential Oil

Bulgarian Rose Oil, or Rose Otto, is the essential oil extracted from the petals of one of the rarest flowers in the world, the Bulgarian Rose Damascena; which is only cultivated and harvested in the Rose Valley of Kazanlak (also known as the “Bulgarian Rose Valley”).

It contains anti-inflammatory properties that helps treat redness and inflammation around the Vulva caused by Bacterial infection.

Calendula

Calendula is native to Asia and southern Europe and has been traditionally used in Ayurvedic and Unani systems of medicine. Calendula flower is commonly used for wounds, rashes, infections, inflammation, and is very beneficial to vaginal health.

As an ingredient, Calendula reduces symptoms of vaginal atrophy such as vaginal itching, burning, dryness, and pain during intercourse.

Chamomile Flower Oil

Chamomile has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties that helps to improve Vaginitis like dryness caused by Bacterial infection. It helps kill the cell wall and membrane of the yeast.

Its anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial actions also help in wound healing and soothe sores. Chamomile placates redness which is a side effect of underlying inflammation and this makes it suitable for sensitive skin

The German and Roman chamomile are known as the true chamomile due to their beneficial properties. They are very similar in appearance but differ slightly in the chemical content of the oils obtained from them.

Coconut Milk Powder

Coconut milk is a white, milky substance extracted from the flesh of mature coconuts. It can be extracted into different forms, in liquid or powdered form. The Vagina being healthy is due to the vaginal flora bacteria.

Similar to gut bacteria, the microbes in our vaginas can keep us healthy or make us sick. Coconut milk contains lauric acid which holds antibacterial properties, which helps your vagina ward off infections. It also eases inflammation around the vulva.

It is also high in antimicrobial properties, improves vaginal health and is a natural remedy against yeast infections. It is effective in killing strains of the Candida fungus, whose overgrowth causes yeast infections.

Comfrey Leaf Powder

Comfrey Leaf Powder with the Scientific name Symphytum officinale has been used for thousands of years in traditional Western herbalism for its valuable, healthful properties.

Coptis Chinensis Root Extract

Coptis (botanical name Coptis chinensis) is a low-growing plant that is indigenous to the mountainous regions of China. In herbal medicine, the roots are dug up in autumn and cut up for their therapeutic properties.

Coptis obliterates the microorganisms that result in giardiasis and trichomoniasis contagions of the urinary tract, they possess antifungal and antibiotic properties that help women with Urinary Tract Infection (UTI).

Epsom salt is simply crystals of magnesium sulfate, a mineral. It’s long been used in the health and wellness space, ever since its discovery all the way back in the 17th century.
